New Mexico to Decarbonize by 2045

New Mexico’s political forecast is joining the climate among excellent conditions for a solar test laboratory in the state.

Both branches of the state legislature are currently moving through bills to mandate 100% zero-carbon electricity by 2045, joining California and Hawaii as the first states to do so. The governor is expected to pass the legislation when it comes across her desk
